I wanted to give an update of what is going on in the next coming months. First off I am doing well. My classes have started and I am back into the swing of things. Once again I want to thank everyone for all your support.
This next Sunday, September 10, I will be talking at my church on India. We call it India Sunday and it would be great if you can join us at Collision Community Church. Church starts at 10 am and we meet in the auditorium of Palms Elementary School in Lakewood. We will be taking a special offering to support the work continuing in India if you wish to contribute.
On another note. This blog is turning from a blog about me going to India but to a blog about any mission work I am able to do whether it be here, in the states or out of the country. If you want to follow along and see what ministry I am doing make sure to check the blog but to make it easy on you, you can subscribe to get any posts in email. When you bring up the webpage check the right hand side for the box under the heading of "Follow by Email." Put your email in the box and submit. You will get an email to confirm that you signed up to receive updates when I post. You will NOT get spam mail from this so do not worry about that.
The next mission work I will be doing is with my school. Hope International University teams up with Amor ministries to build houses for people in Mexico and to help fight against human trafficking. The school goes down 4 Saturdays over two months to build a house for a family. We build it starting with the concrete pad the house will sit on to the stucco walls on the outside. I will be able to go on two of these Saturday trips this semester. Each trip cost $40 to go on them to help pay for the trip to Mexico and back. I will be posting about my time during the trips and possibly some pictures to go with the post.
